2026-2027 Season at AFC Stockport – Club Membership Terms & Conditions

Signing On Fee

There is a one-off signing on fee of £30 to join AFC Stockport, which is to be paid at time of registration

and is non-refundable. You will become a member of the club once payment has been received for signing

on, your Direct Debit has been set up for monthly ongoing fees and your registration form has been

accepted.

Players continuing from one season to the next simply need to continue paying their Direct Debit

throughout the year. You only repay a signing on fee if you choose to leave the club, then return after 10

days from the original leaving date.

Please note that the monthly direct debit is based on an annual fee split equally over the 12 months,

therefore if you decide to leave the club at the end of the season and wish to return before October you

would be required to pay for the months missed.

Monthly Subs

Monthly subs will be collected by Direct Debit on the 1st of every month as follows:

Junior Football

AFC Stockport Cubs, currently free of charge.

AFC Stockport Avengers & Tigers £23 per month.

Adult Football

One Adult Team, £28 per month.

Two Adult Teams, £45 per month (saving £11 per month)

Three Adult Teams, £54 per month (saving of up to £30 per month)

Four Adult Teams, £70 per month (saving of up to £42 per month)

AFC Stockport uses GoCardless to collect Direct Debit payments, the transaction will appear on your

bank statement as GOCARDLESS.

Once you have completed the Direct Debit mandate, the first monthly payment will be collected on the

1st of the following month, unless advised otherwise.

Parents/Players are responsible for setting up the Direct Debit and ensuring it remains in place whilst

they are members of the club.

If the monthly direct debit is not paid on time a £10 late payment administration fee will be charged.

If Direct Debits are cancelled, we will assume that the player has left the Club with immediate effect. If

the player wishes to continue playing for the Club, within 10 days of cancelling their direct debit there

will be a £10 administration fee to re activate the player’s account. After 10 days, the usual £30 signing

on fee would re-apply.

Please note that players will not be able to play or train until all outstanding fees / monthly fees have

been paid.

Direct debit cancellations must be arranged directly by the player with their bank.

Please note that any payments made for monthly fees are non-refundable.

Yellow Card Fines.

Players are liable for ALL Yellow Card fines issued by the FA. Please note that ALL dissent Yellow Card

fines, regardless of whether they are issued by the FA, will be paid for by the player at a cost of £12 each.

Yellow Card fines will need to be paid to the club within 10 days of the offence, if not paid for by this

time the player will not be able to play or train until the payment has been received in full.

Red Card Fines.

Players are liable for ALL Red Card fines issued by the FA, plus any additional costs / match bans as voted

for by the Disciplinary Committee.

If not put through by the FA, the incident will still be discussed by the Disciplinary Committee, and a fine

/ match ban may still be issued.

Red Card fines will need to be paid to the club within 10 days of the offence, if not paid for by this time

the player will not be able to play or train until the payment has been received in full.

Leaving The Club

If a player wishes to leave the club at any time, all kit and equipment must be returned, and all monthly

payments and fines must be paid to date. Players may leave and join another football club once de-

registered at AFC Stockport and the league transfer process has been completed. Under the Club and

League rules, players may not register for another Football Club until they have de-registered from AFC

Stockport, returned / paid for any kit and discharged all their financial liabilities to the Club.
